CISL Holding a Virtual Information Session for Remote Fall 2020 URPs

In a collaboration between Rensselaer and IBM Research, the Cognitive and Immersive Systems Laboratory (CISL) invites students interested in conducting research with us to attend an information session Wednesday, August 12th @ 2 pm online. The research conducted at CISL is currently focused on the following projects:

  • CISL Learning Environment Development (including Mandarin Project Language Learning Games, Education Games)
  • Unity Development, Game Art, Game Designer
  • Spatial Context for Interactive and Intelligent Collaboration Space
  • Dialogue System and NLP Technologies
  • Deployable Situations Room
  • User Study Research

All candidates should possess these basic qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Self motivation, organization, punctuality, and enthusiasm
  • Experience creating engaging cognitive or immersive applications on interdisciplinary teams is a plus
